The Jets will be sporting some different cleats for a good cause Monday night when they take the field against the Colts.
As part of the NFL’s My Cause, My Cleats campaign, players are permitted to wear customized cleats this week to showcase whatever causes are important to them. There are 30 Jets players planning to participate. Of those, 22 will be wearing cleats supporting Brandon Marshall’s Project 375 foundation, which advocates for mental health awareness. Marshall started the foundation after he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in 2011.
Marshall distributed the cleats to teammates Thursday.
