Robby Anderson might not have played in Thursday’s preseason finale anyway, but the Jets wide receiver missed Tuesday’s practice with a calf injury.
Head coach Adam Gase said Anderson is day-to-day while hoping he would be back in time to practice for Week 1 against the Bills.
“I don’t know if it’s concerning,” Gase said. “Any time you have a soft tissue [injury], it’s an unknown. That’s why it’s day-to-day. He’ll keep working on that. Hopefully we get him back for practices and get him a full week and he feels good and we’re ready to roll.
