The Jets have held second interviews with two candidates, but the search for their next head coach isn’t over.

Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith flew in Wednesday night to sit down with Jets officials. They met again Thursday morning at the team’s Florham Park, New Jersey, facility. But Smith left without a contract offer and was on his way to meet with the Eagles about their coaching vacancy.

If this sounds familiar, it’s because 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh ended up with a similar itinerary.
