Jets' Kacy Rodgers has no problem with Mo Wilkerson's Week 1 production, but should he?

FLORHAM PARK -- It was an alarming statistic to see, no doubt. In the Jets' season-opening loss to the Bills, former Pro Bowl defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson had just one tackle.

No hurries. No sacks. No recordable impact plays.

One tackle.

For a player hoping to bounce back from a dreadful 2016, it was hardly an ideal start. Just don't tell defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers that.

"I looked at it as a whole, I thought he did what we asked him," he said. "We didn't do enough defensively as a whole.
