Jets' John Morton learning on a job, with a little help from his players

FLORHAM PARK -- It's not uncommon for coaches in the NFL. They think they know it all, and refuse to admit otherwise. It's their way, or the highway.

For some, that leads to on-field struggles. For others, it leads to their demise.

For Jets offensive coordinator John Morton, it won't lead to either. That's not the type of guy he is.

"I listen to everybody," he said Thursday.

Two weeks ago, Matt Forte openly criticized Morton's in-game play-calling. In a 25-20 loss to the Falcons, the veteran running back didn't feel the Jets ran the ball enough (19 rush attempts to 36 pass).
