FLORHAM PARK -- It's going to happen. Jamal Adams knows it.
The Jets made the unconventional decision to start two rookie safeties on the back end of their defense -- Adams and Marcus Maye. As talented as the two may be, they're still rookies. Teams will want to test them.
And Adams can't wait until they do.
"Bring it on," he said with a grin by his locker on Wednesday. "We're not afraid."
If there's one thing Adams, the sixth pick in this year's draft, and Maye, the 39th, have an abundance of, it's confidence.
