MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Jamal Adams was steamed after Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins — not at the Jets this time, but the concussion spotter who forced him to head to the locker room with just over a minute left in the game.
Adams sacked Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and tackled Kalen Ballage for a 3-yard loss with just over four minutes left. He said after that, the concussion spotter called down to the Jets sideline and said he needed to go to the locker room to be examined.
“I was upset because what if that was a crucial part of the game to where we’re in the ballgame and they take me out and I’m fine,” Adams said.
