The Jets have expressed some interest in free-agent cornerback Marcus Cromartie, a league source confirmed for NJ Advance Media. The 26 year old is the cousin of long-time Jet Antonio Cromartie.
The Sacramento Bee was the first to report the interest, adding the the Seahawks, Lions and Eagles are also intrigued. Cromartie visited with the Lions over the weekend. No visit with the Jets is scheduled yet.
Signed by the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2013, Cromartie has bounced around the NFL a bit these last four years.
