Jets players found a new favorite toy during the preseason: Segway boards.
Segway boards are hands-free electric scooters that are controlled with small movements from the user’s feet. Just last week, players were zipping in and out of the locker room on them, headed off to different parts of the facility. All of a sudden, they’re gone.
“You won’t see ’em anymore,” Todd Bowles told the Daily News on Wednesday. “They don’t ride their bikes and skateboards in the building, they don’t need to ride their Segways in the building.”
Bowles said he “most definitely” outlawed the players’ favorite mode of transportation.
