Jets Insider: Ivory idle again, in doubt to face Eagles

Starting running back Chris Ivory didn't practice for the second straight day Thursday because of a quad strain. His status for Sunday is in doubt, and he'll be a game-time decision, according to Bowles.

"He's still pretty sore. So it'll be a lot like last week," Bowles said. "We won't know until probably Sunday morning."

Ivory was battling a groin injury leading up to Monday's win over the Colts. He played in the game, rushing for 57 yards on 14 carries, but he "irritated" an area in the same leg.

Ivory said there's a chance he could make the injury worse by playing on it.
