The Jets' fifth straight loss -- a predictable 27-13 defeat to the Patriots -- was painful to watch.
But things were nearly much, much more painful for defensive end Henry Anderson.
Early in the fourth quarter, Anderson was the victim of an attempted groin grab by Patriots wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson. Video of the incident -- followed by Anderson crumpling to the ground in seeming agony -- spread like wildfire Sunday afternoon.
But Anderson had to be shown video of the play after the game and painted a far different picture: "It didn't hurt, because I would've noticed it if it hurt," he said.
