The Jets-Colts rivalry has a long history, dating all the way to Super Bowl III when the Colts were still in Baltimore.
Monday night’s matchup will be the 69th all-time meeting between the two clubs in the regular season and Indianapolis holds a 40-28 advantage. However, the Jets (3-8) are 4-1 against the Colts (5-6) since 2009. And in their last meeting, which also was played on a Monday night, the Jets forced five turnovers in a 20-7 win on Sept. 21, 2015 in Indianapolis.
Darrelle Revis had three takeaways in last year’s Jets-Colts game — an interception and a pair of fumble recoveries.
