Jets hand Chiefs game on a silver platter with 8 turnovers

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — You can blame the kid for this if you choose to. Rookie receiver and kick returner Jalin Marshall seemed to be in on a lot of plays that went badly for the Jets on Sunday.

The ugliest play of the Jets sloppy 24-3 loss to the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium came directly from the unsure hands of Marshall, who had the ball dislodged from his arms and into the hands of Kansas City tight end Demetrius Harris, who returned it 27 yards for a touchdown and a 17-0 second-quarter lead.

But to blame Marshall for the awful product the Jets put on the field Sunday is to be highly short-sighted.
