It was a sobering and humbling three hours for the Jets on Thursday night in Baltimore.
To make matters worse, it played out in front of a national television audience, so there was nowhere to hide for the Jets during the 42-21 beatdown they took from the Ravens.
If this was to be a measuring-stick game for the Jets, who entered the night having won four of their previous five games, the stick wasn’t long enough.
Better yet: The Jets might prefer to burn the stick.
In many ways across those three hours at M&T Bank Stadium, the Jets were reminded how far away they are from the AFC’s elite.
