EAST RUTHERFORD — The owners of the New York Giants and New York Jets on Tuesday announced a new president and CEO for MetLife Stadium.
Ron VanDeVeen, previously senior vice president of events and guest experiences, takes over for Brad Mayne.
The appointment was effective as of April 1. Mayne will stay on as a consultant.
VanDeVeen has worked at MetLife Stadium for two decades.
Mayor James Cassella says the Super Bowl in 2014 was billed as a New York event.
"I have spent my entire career here at the Meadowlands and am honored to lead the team of the best and brightest in the industry," he said.
