DALLAS — The Jets are making their second trip to Texas in a month to face a team playing its backup quarterback.
They are hoping this journey to the Lone Star State goes better than the last one.
The Texans embarrassed the Jets in a November meeting, with T.J. Yates at quarterback, but the Jets have not lost since. They take a three-game win streak into Jerry Jones’ giant stadium Saturday night to face the Cowboys and backup quarterback Matt Cassel.
The road has not been kind to the Jets this year. They are 1-3 in true road games, although they did win in London over the Dolphins and against the Giants in a Big Blue home game.
