Some weekends, Colin Kaepernick looks like the dynamic dual-threat quarterback who nearly led the 49ers to a Super Bowl title four years ago.
Last month, he threw for 398 yards against the Saints. Two weeks ago, he had 296 passing yards and three touchdowns, adding 113 rushing yards against the Dolphins.
Then there are games like last Sunday in Chicago, in which Kaepernick – who is winless in seven starts this season – went 1-for-5 for four yards before getting benched.
So, is Kaepernick the same player he used to be?
“Nah. He lost a lot of help, though, to say the least,” the Jets’ Sheldon Richardson told The Post on Friday, two days before the last-place teams meet in Santa Clara, Calif.
