Jets wide receiver Eric Decker on Tuesday underwent surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff in his shoulder. The surgery was expected.
This was the second of two recent surgeries for Decker, who had hip surgery Oct. 18. The shoulder injury resulted in Decker being placed on season-ending injured reserve after he played in just three games this season.
When the Jets announced Decker's hip surgery, right after it happened, they said the recovery time would be six months, and that Decker would have shoulder surgery once he was off crutches.
