For the second consecutive year, a Jets player has entered an alcohol treatment facility. This time, it’s linebacker Dylan Donahue, who checked himself into a New York/New Jersey facility shortly after he was arrested on Feb. 26 after driving the wrong way in the Lincoln Tunnel and colliding with a small passenger bus.
Port Authority police charged Donahue with DWI and reckless driving.
“We respect and support Dylan’s decision to seek treatment,” a Jets spokesman said in a statement. “It is important for him to focus on his health right now. The organization has a full support system in place when he is ready to return.
