FLORHAM PARK -- The Jets will be without three starters for this Sunday's game against the 49ers.
On Friday, coach Todd Bowles ruled out defensive tackle Steve McLendon (hamstring), right tackle Breno Giacomini (calf, lower back) and linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin (ankle).
In place of the those three, the Jets are expected to start Deon Simon, Brent Qvale and Mike Catapano. Reserve running back Khiry Robinson (leg), safety Antonio Allen (concussion) and receiver Jalin Marshall (concussion) are also out.
