PHILADELPHIA — The last time Demaryius Thomas was at Lincoln Financial Field, he left with a torn left Achilles tendon. He is hoping for a better result Sunday.
Thomas is expected to play for the Jets this week after only making it onto the field for seven plays in Week 2 against the Browns and missing the game against the Patriots two weeks ago with a hamstring injury.
“He’s looked good in practice,” coach Adam Gase said. “He just keeps getting more and more reps in team periods. It’s looking very positive for us. I’ve seen him kind of move and burst and seeing some of that stuff, for me, it makes me think of when he was about eight years younger.
