Facing one of the most bumbling offensive attacks in the league -- and a quarterback making his first NFL start in two years -- should have made for a bountiful day for the Jets' defensive unit.
But Gang Green was manhandled at the line of scrimmage and torched for 212 rushing yards, plus 232 more through the air and two touchdown passes by Buffalo's Matt Barkley, in a 41-10 shellacking by the Bills on Sunday.
"I’m very shocked. It’s pretty mind-blowing for us, for our defense, to give up that many points. I feel bad. I feel like I’m one of the leaders on the defense and me being a part of it, it’s definitely embarrassing," linebacker Avery Williamson said.
