New York Jets edge rusher Jermaine Johnson announced on social media that he suffered a torn Achilles tendon and will miss the rest of the season.
"I did tear my Achilles," Johnson said in a video. "But we good, man. We're in great spirits. We're going to get back right."
The Jets feared a torn right Achilles tendon for Johnson when he left Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans with a noncontact injury in the third quarter.
"I thought somebody stepped on me," Johnson said Sunday.
