FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Darrelle Revis played a lousy game last Sunday, punctuated by a play at the end in which he impersonated a ghost instead of trying to make a tackle.
The New York Jets' cornerback made no attempt to tackle Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell, who rumbled 16 yards on a swing pass in the final minute. His lack of urgency was so glaring that not even his coaches tried to defend him.
While acknowledging Revis was guarding the sideline to keep Crowell in bounds, defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers admitted Thursday: "We just felt he could’ve gotten more involved on that play.
