Sept. 1 is NFL cutdown day, which means bubble players are checking their phones nervously as the Jets trim their roster down to the 53-man limit by 4 p.m. Instead of the typical training camp 90, the Jets are carrying 89 players on their current roster after trading Teddy Bridgewater on Wednesday. Three players – ArDarius Stewart, Rashard Robinson and Kevin Pierre-Louis – will also be moved to the suspended list. That means the Jets must make 33 cuts to get their roster down to size.
