The New York Jets officially cut WR Lucky Whitehead and DE Corey Lemonier from injured reserve with settlements on Monday.
The Cowboys elected to move on from Whitehead, even though he had all charges against him dropped and the warrant for his arrest was rescinded in a legal matter that turned out to be a case of mistaken identity.
The Jets later claimed him off of waivers. Unfortunately, he was waived with an injury designation and later reverted to injured reserve.
Whitehead, 25, signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Florida Atlantic back in 2015.
