The Jets' 2017 draft class looks worse by the day.
ArDarius Stewart was the latest victim from that group on Wednesday, as the Jets opted to waive the second-year wide receiver. Stewart was just reinstated from a two-game suspension for performance enhancing drugs, so in order to keep him, the Jets would have had to cut another player to make room on the 53-man roster.
Instead, the third-round pick out of Alabama was cut loose after making just six catches for 82 yards in a Jets uniform last season.
