Jets coach Todd Bowles gets mad after practice fight, sloppy play

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- At the rate they're going, the New York Jets may have more practices stoppages this summer than touchdowns.

A miffed Todd Bowles halted practice Monday after a scuffle between Kelvin Beachum and Lorenzo Mauldin. The fight, coupled with what Bowles called a "sluggish" and "sloppy" practice, resulted in the entire team running gassers as punishment. Before resuming, Bowles addressed the team on the field, expressing his displeasure. After Bowles, Muhammad Wilkerson spoke to the team, essentially saying it was time to re-focus.

This was the third time that practice was stopped because of sloppy play.
