Jets coach Todd Bowles will remember more about Muhammad Ali than his famous fights. Bowles was one of many people who were inspired by the former heavyweight champion, who died on Friday.
“Great man, without even talking about the boxing aspect,” Bowles said Wednesday. “What he stood for, what he stood up for, what he believed in, what he went through to help most Americans get where they are today is unbelievable. You can’t put it into words what he did. I mean, he did what a lot of people thought they wanted to do, or a lot of people thought about doing, he just did it naturally.
