FLORHAM PARK, N.J. – Robert Saleh met with Marcus Maye this week to discuss his February DUI arrest in Florida. Saleh called it "a really good conversation" and said the Jets are "supporting Marcus."
Saleh wouldn’t say whether he previously knew about Maye’s arrest. But it appears he didn’t. Saleh said the fifth-year safety approached him this week to discuss the matter. Maye’s Feb. 23 arrest in Fort Lauderdale was first reported on Monday night.
Asked if there are any trust issues since Maye waited seven months to speak to him about it, Saleh said he judges people on how they are around him.
