FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- On Sunday, Matt Forte -- one of the New York Jets' leaders -- stood in front of his locker and openly questioned the playcalling of offensive coordinator John Morton. He didn't rip Morton, but it still was newsworthy, especially given Forte's stature in the NFL.
Addressing it for the first time Monday, coach Todd Bowles essentially tried to sweep it under the rug, downplaying Forte's comments.
"It's just frustration after the ballgame," Bowles said. "We got down late and we had to throw the ball. But we ran the ball.
