Christian Hackenberg received a promotion. Following Josh McCown's season-ending hand injury on Sunday, the frozen-in-carbonite former second-round pick became the Jets' backup quarterback.

Hackenberg's thoughts?
"I'm as ready as I've ever been," he said inside the Jets locker room Thursday.
