The New York Jets wanted Kirk Cousins. They wanted him badly, and they weren't happy when he signed with the Minnesota Vikings without so much as visiting their facility even though their offer was more lucrative than that of the Vikings.
On Sunday, Jets CEO Christopher Johnson -- the first team official to comment on the Cousins snub -- tried to put a positive spin on the situation.
Johnson said he was "absolutely" disappointed by the Cousins outcome, "but we moved very quickly to Plan B."
