Jets CB Nick Marshall Suspended Four Games For PED Violation

The New York Jets announced Friday that CB Nick Marshall has been suspended without pay for first four games of the 2017 season for violating league’s performance-enhancing substances policy.

Marshall, 24, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in May of last year. He managed to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season but was waived a year later.

The Jaguars signed him to their practice squad before the start of the season before he later caught on with the Jets in October.

In 2016, Marshall eight games and recorded five tackles and no sacks or interceptions, but contributed 228 kick return yards and another 39 punt return yards for the Jets.
