Paper tickets rapidly are becoming a thing of the sports fan past, a trend the Jets have been among the local leaders on, starting last season with Jets Rewards.
The program features cards that contain information regarding season ticket holders' accounts that allow entrance into the stadium as well as an opportunity to earn rewards points for various fan-related activities.
Starting with Sunday's opener, the team will fully launch the next phase, called Jets Cash, in which fans can pre-load money onto their cards to spend on food and merchandise without bothering with actual cash.
The Jets are offering an enrollment bonus of $20, with an added $20 for fans who load up using MasterCard, which sponsors the program.
