Only a handful of players missed Tuesday's practice entirely due to injury and most of them were the usual suspects at this point. Nose tackle Steve McLendon remained out and is by far the most concerning absence right now for the Jets. Wide receiver Lucky Whitehead was the only new addition to the list. Wide receiver Jonah Trinnaman and cornerback Jeremy Clark sat out, too.
The Jets had music blaring throughout practice, as they have for much of camp. But the players really cut loose at times on Tuesday – particularly the defense. At one point early on, the entire defense came together between plays and was dancing in the huddle.
