Jets' Calvin Pace says 'blame Mo Lewis' for Tom Brady's legendary New England Patriots career

FLORHAM PARK — Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is still going strong, at age 38. His quarterback rating this season, 103.8, is the fourth-highest of his career.

As Jets fans will remember, Brady became the Patriots' starter in 2001, after Jets linebacker Mo Lewis hit quarterback Drew Bledsoe and seriously injured him. All these years later, Brady is still around, and still playing well.

That Lewis hit happened on Sept. 23, 2001. A week later, Brady made his first start.
