The New York Jets brought in ILB Gerald Hodges for a visit. He was PFF’s No. 21 LB out of 87 qualifiers in 2016, earning an 82.4 production grade and would be an upgrade at the linebacker position.
Hodges ranked 21st out of 60 qualified inside linebackers with a 9.3 run-stop percentage and his 29 total stops ranked 15th. Both numbers are higher than either current starting ILB on the Jets’ roster. David Harris had a run-stop percentage of 6.1 with 22 stops, while Darron Lee had a 5.
