NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Facing a number of injuries at wide receiver, the Jets on Thursday signed one wideout to their 53-man roster and another to their practice squad.
New York re-signed receiver/kick returner Jeremy Ross. The fifth-year player went to training camp with the Jets this season but was released in the final cutdown Sept. 3. The Jets also signed former Giants wide receiver Myles White to their practice squad.
The 6-foot, 215-pound Ross caught six passes for 89 yards in the preseason. He also had four punt returns for 48 yards and two kickoff returns for 66 yards, including a 51-yarder.
