FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- If a head-butt backfires, does that make the person who delivered it a butt head?
New York Jets guard Brian Winters put himself in that position on Sunday, taking a cheap shot at an opponent and suffering a concussion on the play.
It happened in the second quarter of the Jets' 27-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Winters, running alongside defensive end Michael Bennett on an outside run by Matt Forte, leaned into Bennett and ... well, head-butted him.
After a few seconds, Winters -- flagged for a personal foul -- went down on one knee, dazed.
