CLEVELAND -- It's a good thing Twitter wasn't around in January 1969; Joe Namath's guarantee for Super Bowl III might have backfired.
The New York Jets legend has been off the mark the past two weeks with his in-game criticisms of his former team. On Sunday, he tweeted at halftime that Ryan Fitzpatrick should be benched because "we're not goin anywhere" with him. Namath wanted to see Bryce Petty at quarterback.
Who thinks we should see Bryce Petty start the 2nd half? I know I do. It hurts to say this, but we're not goin anywhere with Fitzpatrick.
