EAST RUTHERFORD -- Well, you can't say Brandon Marshall isn't a man of his word.
Just days after the Jets' receiver said he would carry a penalty flag around with him to throw at Dolphins' cornerback Byron Maxwell, Marshall took the field Saturday with, you guessed it, a penalty flag (or what appears to be) in his pants.
"I will be carrying my own flag just in case [Maxwell] decides to conduct himself the same way," Marshall said Friday. "I will help the refs out."
At the time of this posting, Marshall had not thrown the flag.
