The Jets’ last home game of the season – and likely the last one at MetLife Stadium for Todd Bowles as their coach – ended like so many have under his leadership.
A blown lead, lack of discipline and composure and an inability to finish all led to the Jets’ 44-38 overtime loss to the Green Bay Packers Sunday afternoon.
The Jets led the game by 15 points in the fourth quarter, but they couldn’t stop Aaron Rodgers, or themselves from committing penalties. Rodgers connected on a 16-yard touchdown pass with Davante Adams with 6:23 in overtime to send the Jets (4-11) to the fifth straight loss at home.
