Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brandon Marshall were texting each other one night during training camp when the topic of being an older football player came up.
“I don’t really see it as a bad thing,” Fitzpatrick said recently. “I was texting with Brandon. To win football games in the NFL, it’s not just about having the best athletes or the most talent. It’s also about having the smartest players. Being smart as a football player, a lot of that comes with experience.”
The Jets better hope so.
