Jamison Crowder’s total contract with the Jets is worth about 13 times more than he earned with the Redskins.
And, even as Crowder says he approached his first big-money season with a new team no differently than he did his first four as an under-appreciated fourth-round draft pick, the Jets are feeling anything but regret.
“He’s always open at the right time,” coach Adam Gase said. “He’s just really reliable.”
Crowder has a chance Sunday to remind his former team of what it is missing by not making more of an effort to keep him before he signed a three-year, $28.
