Jets are having some offensive line issues

LANDOVER, Md. — The Jets have some issues along the offensive line.

They played Thursday night’s 15-13 loss to the Redskins without starting left tackle Kelvin Beachum and right guard Brian Winters, and the Jets better hope they get healthy soon. Rookie quarterback Sam Darnold was dodging the Redskins’ pass rush when the Washington starting defense was in the game.

The Jets expect Beachum and Winters to be back for the regular season, but they must be concerned about their lack of depth. Brent Qvale started at left tackle and was beaten for a sack.
