The Jets are going to get some face time with the biggest name on the coaching market.
The Jets will interview former Packers coach Mike McCarthy for their head-coaching opening, according to the NFL Network.
McCarthy was the Packers coach for 13 seasons before getting fired last month. He went 125-77-2 in Green Bay and won a Super Bowl in 2010. He led the Packers to the playoffs nine times.
McCarthy, 55, has reportedly drawn interest from several teams, but this would be his first known interview.
He was fired by the Packers after the team started 4-7-1.
