Jets coach Adam Gase is dealing with the loss of another player after the NFL handed down a four-game suspension to linebacker Brandon Copeland this week.
Gase and the team have known this was a possibility and have been rotating players at outside linebacker in training camp, but the official word hit Wednesday.
“It’s unfortunate,” Gase said. “He’s a guy that’s been impactful over his career. He’s one of those guys in the locker room that tries to do everything right. It’s an unfortunate situation. It’s tough for him to deal with. It is what it is now.
