One day after the not-so-final final cuts, the New York Jets continued to tinker with their 53-man roster on Sunday. They acquired four players on waivers, including help for their depleted tight-end position.
The Jets picked up two tight ends, Brian Parker (Kansas City Chiefs) and rookie Braedon Bowman (Jacksonville Jaguars). They join starter Kellen Davis and Brandon Bostick on the roster, but there's no guarantee the Jets will carry four tight ends into the season.
In addition, they claimed running back Troymaine Pope (Seattle Seahawks) and cornerback Darryl Roberts (New England Patriots), who was waived with the injury designation.
