Vickerson had been placed on Active/PUP at the start of training camp with a hamstring injury. He will be available to practice today at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center ahead of the team's travel to Detroit for the preseason opener against the Lions on Thursday night.
Vickerson (6'4", 295) has played in 86 games (44 starts) with the Titans, Broncos and last season with the Chiefs. He has amassed 6.5 sacks, one fumble recovery (vs. the Jets in 2008), one interception and 165 tackles (120 solo), including 17.5 for loss. Most of his starts, 41, came with the Broncos, the first 12 at DE in 2010, the last 29 at DT.
